Seldon hires new Head of People and Talent to drive forward company growth

Seldon is delighted to have appointed former-Contino Head of People, Amy Darlow, as the company’s first Head of People and Talent. This strategic appointment will drive forward our ambitious growth plans for Seldon while helping us to maintain and strengthen our first-class company culture. She joins the team with more than eight years of experience working in the technology sector, having built her career at high-growth organisations, excelling in all areas of talent acquisition, employee engagement and career development.

Prior to joining Seldon, Amy was promoted to Head of People EMEA at cloud transformation consultancy Contino. There, she proved instrumental in the start-up’s people strategy, helping to treble the headcount before Contino was acquired by Cognizant in 2019. Amy is also a former HR Manager of management consultancy Sysdoc, where she worked closely with the senior leadership team to execute HR and recruitment plans and worked as a HR Advisor at digital cinema software company Arts Alliance Media.

“I am pleased to welcome Amy to the organisation. She’s extremely passionate about building an inclusive culture and will be a huge asset as we scale our team, develop our brilliant company culture and further accelerate career development here at Seldon. We’re delighted to have her on board and I’m sure her work will prove transformational for our business.”

Amy will focus on supporting both the business and its employees as we grow. Her remit also extends to building out Seldon’s approach to hiring, attracting and retaining more world-class talent, developing our employee experience, nurturing an inclusive culture, implementing learning and career development programmes, enhancing knowledge sharing and thought leadership, as well as driving diversity and inclusion within the organisation.

The employee experience is something that we value highly at Seldon, and Amy will focus her efforts on improving the health and wellbeing of our staff, ensuring that everybody has the career support they need. As we scale up, we want to ensure that Seldon rewards and recognises the achievements of the team and is set up well for sustainable growth.
